You can purchase a gift card for someone overseas! Just make sure that the location in the top left corner of the website matches the region where the gift recipient resides. Gift cards can only be redeemed in the country that uses the currency you have purchased the gift card with. 

For example, if you live in Australia and have a friend in the USA you would need to switch your location to a city in the USA to purchase a gift card for them.
